Wine Room

Just as fine wine takes time it will take us some time to completely stock this room with only the finest wines in the world, however we are off to a good start. We have priced the wines in this room to not only be competitive, but to sell for less than anyone that we have ever seen. We will be aggressively seeking the finest vintages in this room and will be more than happy to work with you to order any wines that you request. Custom orders are welcome and we will also offer a 10% discount on full cases of any wines in this room.

Not every one is lucky enough to have a wine fridge or wine cellar, so here are some tips on how to keep your wine in the best possible condition!

  • Wine loves to rest:  Store your bottles on their side away from light, vibrations and changes in temperature.
  • Wine is sensitive and delicate:  Keep away from strong odors, dirt, insects and especially damp  areas!
  • Wine needs some moisture:  Ideal humidity is 70 to 80 % to stop the cork from drying out!

We here at UnCork It are understandably proud of our fine high-end wines and the room that’s been specially built to house these gems. We rotate standing stock monthly to ensure proper conditions for the corks as well.

We at UnCork-It understand that some of the items we offer for sale are intimidating to those of us who have not dedicated our lives to the study of these items. Our goal is to help educate our customers so that they feel comfortable and knowledgeable  when deciding what item they should purchase. We offer Classes, Seminars, and Special tastings of Wines, Spirits, Cigars, Cheeses and more.

This non intimidating environment is designed to be fun and exciting for those who attend so whether social or educational, you are guaranteed to enjoy the event.

Wine and Champagne

Serving temperature:   For champagne and light dry wine, 46-50 degrees.  Put it on the top shelf for an hour before serving!

For fuller dry and medium whites, 50-54 degrees.  This is normal fridge temperature if the wine is in the door.  Keep there for 2-3 hours!   For light red wine, 54-58 degrees.  Put it in the vegetable compartment for 1&1/2 hours. One hour may be enough, but as a general rule it is always better to serve wine too cool and then let it warm up in the glass. For most reds 60-64 degrees is perfect!  This is close to room temperature. You may chill it slightly for maybe an hour in the vegetable compartment if you like!
