  Welcome
to UnCork-It. UnCork-It is the brainchild of owners George and Peter
Stellas, both Chicago natives. The Stellas family has been in the grocery
business for almost 80 years in Chicago and their stores have always
been at the cutting edge of retail excellence. In March 2003 George
took over running his downtown store liquor department and he immediately
saw the potential and need to offer his customers the best prices in
the city, yet in a very clean sophisticated environment. "The demographics
of the wine and liquor customer has changed in the last few years and
we wanted to build a store that addressed the changing customer base."
Thus UnCork-It was born!
 Our
goal is to create a beautiful, customer friendly shopping environment
in a store filled with warehouse pricing! Our store will not just appeal
to men, but it will also embrace women who today are purchasing over
50% of the liquor in the country. UnCork-It will be clean bright and
customer friendly. Oh yes, I almost forgot, UnCork-It is not just a
liquor store but it will be a total party superstore. How about Chicago's
largest collection of frozen party hors d' revres, or our extraordinary
selection of imported and domestic cheeses, olives and cured meats.
We will also carry crackers, snacks and glassware, basically anything
you could ever need to entertain guests.
